Belt Filter Press (BFP)
Belt Filter Press forms the cakes out of sludge by two dewatering steps. The first step is gravitational dewatering by a thickening filter, and the second step is compressive dewatering by two dewatering filters. In case of feed sludge contents of 0.#% solid, sludge thickener is necessary as pre-treatment.

Coarse screen [Mechanical Equipment]
One mechanical coarse screen with ## mm openings will be installed at the inlet of the pump pit to remove floating coarse particles from incoming sewage in order to prevent clogging of the lift pumps.
